Are you interested in taking Mom out for brunch on Mother’s Day, May 13 but don’t know where to take her?  If so, we wanted to let you know what some of your best options are in the Napa Valley.  Many restaurants are offering a Mother’s Day Brunch to help celebrate the special occasion and some places that aren’t even normally open for brunch are making an exception for Mom.  Keep reading to see what some of your best choices are, and reservations are highly suggested if not required.

Buffet Brunch for Mother’s Day in Napa Valley

If you are looking for a buffet brunch, three options come to mind.

Brix is offering a buffet brunch between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for $38.50 for adults and $18.50 for children ages 7-13 (children age 6 and under are free).  Buffet items include Mixed Beet Salad, Cous Cous and Toasted Almonds, Oysters, House-Smoked Salmon, Eggs Benedict, Sourdough Pancakes, Seasonal Garden Vegetable Pizza, Garlic-Rubbed Tri-Tip, Red Velvet Cupcakes, and Seasonal Fruit Crisp among others.  You can see the full menu here.  7377 St. Helena Highway (Highway 29), Napa  (707) 944-2749.

Meadowood Napa Valley is offering a buffet brunch in the Vintners Room for $80 for adults and $35 for children ages 3-12 (pricing includes tax and gratuity).  As of today, they still had room for their 1:00 p.m. seating.  Buffet items include Granola and Yogurt Parfait, Meadowood Garden Beans, Quinoa Salad, Dungeness Crab Salad, Quiche Florentine, Smoked Salmon, Eggs Benedict, Tenderloin of Beef, Cheesecake Cupcakes, and an Assortment of Macaroons among several other choices.  You can see the full menu here.  900 Meadowood Lane, St. Helena  (707) 967-1207. 

Silverado Resort and Spa is offering a buffet brunch in their Ballroom between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for $58 for adults and $25 for children ages 4-12 (children age 3 and under are free).   Buffet items include Local Artisan Cheeses, Melons and Berries, Wild Shrimp Cocktail, Endive and Celery Root Salad, Delta Asparagus, Farm Egg Benedict, Fried Chicken, Brioche French Toast, Spring White Corn, and a Sweet Treat Buffet.  You can see the full menu here.  1600 Atlas Peak Road, Napa  (707) 257-5431.

Prix Fixe Brunch Menus for Mother’s Day in Napa Valley

Several restaurants throughout the Napa Valley are offering prix fixe meals at brunch for Mother’s Day.

Auberge du Soleil is offering three courses between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with 2-4 choices per course, at $95 per guest and $35 for children under the age of 12.  Proposed menu selections include Grilled Delta Asparagus, Prosciutto San Daniele, Chilled English Pea Soup, Little Gem Lettuce Salad, Northern Halibut, and Duck Confit Hash.  You can see the full menu here.  180 Rutherford Hill Road, Rutherford  (707) 963-1211.

Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery is offering two courses between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at $25 per person, with eleven main courses to select from .  Menu items include White Grape Gazpacho, Eggs Sardo, Baby Back Ribs, Salmon and Pasta, and a Thai Salad.  You can see the full menu here.  1250 Lincoln Avenue, Calistoga  (707) 942-4101. 

étoile Restaurant (at Domaine Chandon) is offering three courses between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with 3 choices per course, at $75 per person although childrens’ options will also be available.  Proposed menu selections include Pâté Foie Blond, Chilled Fennel Soup, Fettuccine with Maine Lobster, Beef Tenderloin, Baked Alaska, and Meyer Lemon Vacherin.  You can see the full menu here.  1 California Drive, Yountville  (800) 736-2892.

Hurley’s is offering a three-course prix fixe menu with 3-7 choices per course for $50 (including one glass of your choice of Chandon Blanc de Noirs, Mimosa, Fresh Squeezed Juice, or Soda) between 10:00 a.m.and 3:00 p.m..  Options include a Fresh Fruit Bowl, Eastern Rock Crab Cakes, Wild Mushroom Omelette, Stuffed Brioche French Toast, Strawberry Shortcake, and an Ice Cream Sandwich.  Hurley’s will also offer an A La Carte menu with items including Caesar Salad and Early Spring Vegetable Risotto as well as a Kids Menu including Scrambled Eggs and a Cheeseburger.  You can see the full menu here.  6518 Washington Street, Yountville  (707) 944-2345. 

La Toque (at the Westin Verasa) is offering a three-course menu with 3-5 choices per course for $65 per person, or $48 per person for guests under the age of 21 between 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m..  Brunch includes an Aperitif of a Mimosa, Bellini, Bloody Mary, or Prosecco, as well as a choice of Coffee, Hot Tea, Orange, Apple, or Grapefruit Juice.  Menu items include Chilled Dutch White Asparagus, Smoked Salmon Tartare, Lobster Omelet, Grilled Portobello with Sauce Bearnaise, and Gateau Concorde au Chocolat.  You can see the full menu here.  1314 McKinstry Streeet, Napa  (707) 257-5157. 

Family-Style Brunch for Mother’s Day in Napa Valley

On May 13, FARM (at The Carneros Inn) will be offering a family-style Mother’s Day Brunch between 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for $75 per person, $37.50 per person for children under 12, and children under the age of 5 are free.  The food offerings on your table will include Crab Bisque, Hearts of Romaine, Carved Beef Tenderloin, Eggs Benedict, Maine Lobster Thermidor, and Dessert.  You can see the full menu here.  4048 Sonoma Highway, Napa  (707) 299-4880.
