Calling Interior Design Fans: The Napa Valley Showhouse at Cardinale Winery

Napa Valley ShowhouseInterested in seeing inspirational interior designs while tasting a delicious Sauvignon Blanc in the heart of Napa Valley?  This October, Traditional Home Magazine will sponsor its first-ever Showhouse in the Napa Valley at the Cardinale Estate, located at 7600 St. Helena Highway in Oakville.

The 2012 Napa Valley Showhouse is approximately 4,500 square feet and is comprised of 10 interior spaces plus two outdoor spaces.  Visitors can view the work of some of the country’s finest interior designers who will draw inspiration from the beauty of the Napa Valley and surrounding vineyards.

If you want to be one of the first people in the door, the Napa Valley Showhouse opens with a Gala Preview Cocktail Party on Thursday, October 4 between 6:00 and 8:30 pm.  Tickets to the Gala are $150 each and you can go here to buy them.

After the Gala Preview Cocktail Party, the Showhouse will be open to the public for nearly six weeks from Friday, October 5 to Sunday, November 11. The Showhouse is timed to coincide with Traditional Home’s sponsorship of the Napa Valley Film Festival, which runs November 7-11, 2012, and all Showhouse proceeds will benefit the Film Festival. 

Starting Friday, October 5, Napa Valley Showhouse hours will be Tuesdays through Sundays, 10:30 am to 5:00 pm (unfortunately, children under six, infants, strollers and pets are not allowed).  Admission is $25 per person when booked in advance and $30 at the door.  For each admission, guests will participate in a self-guided tour and will receive a Showhouse journal and a complimentary tasting of a new wine, the Cardinale Intrada Sauvignon Blanc.  For $50 per person, interested guests will experience the tour and a private tasting experience, and also receive a journal.  For more information on tours, the Opening Night Gala, and to schedule a visit, please go here.

Cardinale Estate is located in the heart of Napa Valley’s world–renowned Oakville District and is famous for their Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from each vintage. The wine is a limited-production blend from Napa Valley’s most recognized mountain appellations including Mt. Veeder, Spring Mountain, Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain.
