2011 A Wine and Food Affair

Wine Road LogoTickets are now on sale for the 2011 A Wine and Food Affair, November 5th and 6th, from 11 am to 4 pm.  If you want to see our standard post on this event, click here.

During A Wine and Food Affair, each participating winery prepares a special recipe to pair with one of their wines.  With your ticket, you can visit the wineries, taste the food/wine pairing, and then take home a cookbook (included in your ticket price) that has all of the recipes in it.  Most wineries pour several other wines as well for tasting.

You can purchase a ticket for both Saturday and Sunday ($70), or for Sunday only ($50).  A Wine and Food Affair is leisurely, enjoyable and usually less crowded than other similar events (such as Passport to Dry Creek Valley).  The best part is that you can print out a listing in advance of the participating wineries and the food they are serving, so you can strategize your trip based on food, wine, or both!  But, be sure to purchase your ticket in advance because this event does sell out.

Another nice feature is that you can purchase tickets for Designated Drivers for only $30.  No wine, but he/she can taste the food, and they do get a cookbook.
