The Flavor! Napa Valley™ festival is a four-day food and wine event holding its inaugural session this month, from November 17-20, 2012. One of the highlights of the festival is “The Appellation Trail: Tasting Napa Valley”, a foodie-nirvana experience bringing together over 120 wineries and over 25 restaurants from across the valley. This mouth-watering event will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18th at the historic Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone in St. Helena. Tickets are still available so you should go here to buy them. Immediately.
Wine varietals from A to Z will be poured at the event (literally: we’re talking Albarino to Zinfandel here) from wineries that are nationally known as well as some more boutique ones. A sampling of the winery participants at The Appelation Trail: Tasting Napa Valley we are particularly fond of are Behrens Family Winery, Beringer Vineyards, Cakebread Cellars, Chappellet, Chiarello Family Vineyards, Clos Du Val, Cornerstone Cellars, Crocker & Starr, Etude, Grgich Hills Estate, John Anthony Vineyards, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Kenefick Ranch, Mumm Napa Valley, Neal Family Vineyards, Pride Mountain Vineyards, St. Clement Vineyards, Silver Oak Cellars, Staglin Family Vineyard, and Tyler Florence Wines.
And the food should be incredible. The Appellation Trail: Tasting Napa Valley participants will have access to some of the best chefs from throughout the valley preparing dishes that night. Geographically speaking, these are the chefs who will be at Greystone on November 18th, and what restaurants they will be representing:

Is this the thing that led you to stumble upon our blog? 😉
