Single Vineyard Night PostcardHere’s a fun way to celebrate “Hump Day” in San Francisco next week:  The Russian River Valley Winegrowers’ Single Vineyard Night.  This entertaining evening showcases special wines from over 25 wineries, winemakers, and grape grower partners from this appellation paired with an array of small bites from local producers and restaurants. The Russian River Valley is synonymous with extraordinary wines and wineries typically save small-lot, single-vineyard designations to showcase their finest and most distinctive wines.  Some of the most popular varietals in the region include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Syrah.

Single Vineyard Night runs from 6:30 to 9:00 pm on October 23 and tickets are $55 per person.  Or, you can purchase VIP tickets for $75 each which provide early entry at 5:30 pm with special library selections or limited resource wines during that first hour.  If you are getting 5 or more tickets, costs are just $40 for General Admission or $60 for VIP Admission.  Or, if you are buying 10 or more tickets, costs drop to $35 for General Admission or $55 for VIP Admission.  To purchase tickets soon, please go here.

Held at the beautiful and historic General’s Residence in upper Fort Mason in San Francisco, Single Vineyard Night is the perfect opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, Aquatic Park and Alcatraz while sipping some of the world’s finest wines.  Participating wineries that night include:

Bacon Bacon Food Truck LogoComplementing the wines will be delectable bites from local artisan food suppliers and restaurants including Corks Restaurant, John Ash & Co.KIND Snacks and KRAVE Jerky.  In addition, the Bacon Bacon Food Truck will be there offering heartier fare for purchase. To keep your feet as happy as your palate, DJ Sol will be spinning his infectious grooves all night.  Single Vineyard Night activities will also include a Silent Auction with proceeds benefiting the Russian River Valley Winegrowers’ continued work to preserve the region’s agriculture legacy through marketing and education.

Come join Russian River Valley Winegrowers and Uncorked Events for this amazing night of Russian River Valley single vineyard wines at the General’s Residence.  The Russian River Valley Winegrowers association includes over 120 growers, 75 wineries and 40 retail and commercial members.  Uncorked Events is an event-planning organization created to bring the Bay Area the ultimate in wine lifestyle events, founded on the notion that enjoying wine should always be fun, relaxed, social and educational.
